Tay-K Sentenced to 55 Years in Prison

Tay-K aka  Taymor Travon McIntyre and six other men have been found guilty of murder and three counts of agravated robbery. Tay K was sentenced to 55 years in prison and a 21,000 fine.

The murder occurred following a home invasion where Tay K and the 6 other men had intended to rob Ethan Walker of Drugs and Money. Walkers girlfriend testified that he was shot dead whilst he had his hands in the Air.

Tay K’s Legal  team argued that he was not the person who fired the lethal shot. However prosecutors stated that his intent to rob walker was enough to prosecute him for three counts of aggravated robbery as well as murder.

Tay-K’s hit song The Race was used as evidence against him during his trial. The Track released in 2017 was made shortly after he he was charged with murder at 16. He had been placed on house arrest but removed his ankle tag, writing on twitter “fuck dis house arrest shit … they gn hav 2 catch me”
